Happy New Year!

Well I am a little late, but happy new year!  I can't believe 2010 has come to a close.  Chris and I were just reflecting yesterday as we drove back from Spokane at what a fabulous year this has been, easily the best of our lives.  Of course the highlight was the birth of Reese in March, but we have also learned so much as a couple.  It is amazing how much your relationship changes when you become parents.  There are so many more times that you need to rely on the friendship aspect of your relationship to carry you through.  I don't know how single parents manage! Through everything we have grown closer as a couple and the roots of our relationship are stronger.  It has also been a great year with so many other new babies this year.  My adorable nephew made his appearance in May, and I love watching as him and Reese become the best of friends.  They are going to be pretty upset when they find out they can't get married one day!  This year has also marked the end, or intermission, of my professional career.  It has already been over 2 months since I have stopped working full time to be with Reese. I have not regretted my decision for a second! I miss my job, my paycheck, the feeling of business success, the rush of closing a big deal, and my friends, but every morning when I wake up and get to play with my baby I know it is worth it!  I must say that part of me feels a little less than worthy when someone asks what I do now. Stay at home mom is a little less sexy than Account Manager, but I do count myself lucky for being in the position I am.  I know many moms would love to be able to stay home with their little ones, so I count myself blessed! I am looking very forward to what 2011 brings. I am loving watch Reese morph into a toddler, and see what other changes are in store for my family this year. I hope all my friends and family also have a blessed 2011! So here is to a new year, and a close to the best one yet! Here are some photo highlights from this past year! I am looking very forward to what 2011 brings.
